Puss in Boots arrives to the cinema on his own

Swords will cross and hearts will break in this adventure starrung one of the most beloved characters from the Shrek universe.

30.11.2011 /

Antonio Banderas is Puss in Boots Again! Long before Puss met Shrek, this suave and furry feline hero went on a swashbuckling adventure, teaming with mastermind criminal, Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and street-savvy Kitty (Salma Hayek) to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.
Puss was raised in a small orphanage, his only friend was a mischievous egg named Humpty Alexander Dumpty. Their youthful adventures lead the once-honorable rogue  to become a wanted cat.
Taking destiny into his own paws years later, the outlaw Puss faces the adventure of a lifetime as he discovers the road to redemption is paved with old enemies, new friends and, most importantly, the chance to become the world’s most famous boots wearing hero.
Master strategist and genius inventor, Humpty Dumpty has only one goal in his hardened yellow brain: to reunite with his former best friend, Puss in Boots, and attempt the single greatest heist of his life.
Among the most feared and well-respected high-end thieves, Kitty is Puss’s equal in swordplay, dancing and cat-itude. Always one to play it cool, caring only about the score… Until she meets Puss in Boots.
From the #1 animated franchise of all time, Shrek, now arrives the story of Puss in Boots. Puss in Boots is already a star. It has ranked #4 among all DreamWorks Animation characters since it appeared at Shrek 2, so this family comedy is expected to be a great success.
DreamWorks     Animation is launching two other films in 2012. The first of them, Madagascar 3, which is releasing in August, brings back the adventures of Alex, the Lion, Marty, the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman, The Giraffe.
